Talking about the domestic box office, War continues its great journey. The film’s collections dropped on Monday, but that is normal, since Working Week has started from Monday. The Hindi version of the film collected 4.40 crores. With this, the 13-day net box office collection of War has increased to 264.40 crores. If the collections of Telugu and Tamil versions are also added to it, the net collection becomes 276.40 crores.
It is worth noting that the film has crossed the halt of 275 crore in 13 days and today it will become the biggest film of the year after earning Tuesday. At present, this book is named after Shahid Kapoor’s Kabir Singh, who has a lifetime collection of 278 crores at the box office. War needs about 2 crore to overtake Kabir Singh, who is likely to meet today.
#War witnesses the normal weekday decline… Goes past ₹ 275 cr… Next target: ₹ 300 cr… #War [#Hindi; Week 2] Fri 7.10 cr, Sat 11.20 cr, Sun 13.20 cr, Mon 4.40 cr. Total: ₹ 264.40 cr. Including #Tamil + #Telugu: ₹ 276.40 cr. #India biz.

At the same time, seeing the box office speed of the war, it is expected to reach 300 crores. If that happens, War will become the first 300 million film of 2019. However, the film still needs 23.60 crores to reach there. This amount should be received in the third week.
Anyway, War has until October 24 to increase its collections. Three films are releasing on October 25, including Akshay Kumar’s Housefull 4. After this, the path of war will be a bit difficult. Meanwhile, Priyanka Chopra’s The Sky Is Pink also came out on 11 October, but it did not challenge War. Despite the release of The Sky Is Pink, War had collected over 33 crores in the second weekend.
