Shamshad Ahmed, associated with Surya Upasana Chhath Puja Seva Samiti, has told the media that for the last 15 years, Hindus and Muslims jointly celebrate each other’s festivals. This puja is completely dedicated to nature, so with the cooperation in it, after the end of worship, we also eat prasad. It is our endeavor to get a good message inside the society.
Celebrating from Chhath till Eid:
Chairman of the committee Rajesh Yadav said that we celebrate the festival of Eid together from Ramlila. This time the ghat will be decorated through litto. Cleanliness and safety have been taken care of with this. He told the media that 21 Chhath Ghats have been built in Janakpuri, whose clean-up work has started. With this, 65 new Chhath Ghats are being built in Uttam Nagar. In Punjabi Bagh, Patel Nagar, Rajouri Garden, Palam Village, Subhash Nagar, and Tilak Nagar, people are also engaged in the decoration of Chhath Ghats.
Instructions given to the officials of the cleaning department:
The Chairman of South Delhi Municipal Corporation, Kailash Sankhan told that we will have full attention on the cleanliness around the ghats. Instructions have also been given to officials of the cleaning department for this. Besides, the Municipal Corporation will also provide medical facilities where there are large ghats.
