On this occasion, Google is celebrating the anniversary of demolishing the Berlin Wall by making a doodle in a special way. Due to this wall, the Communists of Eastern Europe could not enter Western Europe during the Cold War. It is known that with the fall of this wall, the Communist rule came to an end.

Know why the Berlin Wall was built

According to media reports, after the end of the Second World War, Europe was divided into two parts, Communist Eastern and Capitalist Western. This wall was built on 13 August 1961 and was demolished on 9 November 1989. Germany was partitioned after the Second World War.

Large numbers of workers and businessmen leave East Berlin and move to West Berlin every day. Many people also left socialist East Germany and moved to capitalist West Germany for political reasons. This caused East Germany to suffer financially.

Therefore built the Berlin Wall so that migration was prevented. The idea of this wall was conceived by the administration of Walter Ulbricht and approved by Soviet leader Nikita Khrushchev.
