CAT 2019: Common Admission Test Examination across the country today, definitely pay attention to these things: The Common Admission Test (CAT 2019) examination is being conducted on 24 November 2019. There will be more than 2.44 lakh candidates in the CAT exam. This year, this examination is being conducted by the Indian Institute of Management Kozhikode (IIM Kozhikode).
CAT exam has been conducted at 376 centers in 156 cities across the country. The exam time is three hours, which will be divided on the basis of Verbal Ability and Reading Comprehension, Data Interpretation and Logical and Reasoning and Quantitative Ability.
Reading also has a special role in passing this exam. CAT is also designed to test a candidate’s reading ability. Usually, 34 questions are asked in the verbal ability section, out of which 24 are purely reading comprehension.
The admit card for CAT 2019 was released on 23 October. Although the date of release of the result has not been announced yet, it is expected that the result of CAT 2019 exam will be released in January 2020.
Candidates applying for the exam can also see how to calculate percentile from CAT website iimcat.ac.in. According to the percentile calculation method, the candidate’s overall percentage and secondary percentile are calculated. Based on this percentage score, candidates are admitted to IIMs and other business schools, where candidates are shortlisted on the basis of CAT score.
- Download your admit card from the CAT website.
- Take a printout and paste the picture, the photo should be the same as the one uploaded in the CAT application form.
- Go to the examination centers with the admit card along with the identity certificate.
