Life Insurance Corporation of India has brought a job gift for the young men and women of the country. This is no less than a golden chance for those candidates who are working hard to get a government job. The country’s largest life insurance company is going to recruit more than 8000 posts in the post of LIC Assistant. Notification has also been issued by LIC regarding this.

Here the candidates should know that for this recruitment, the posts of Assistant will be filled in Divisional Offices located in different areas of the country. These include Central, Eastern-Central, Northern, Northern-Central, Southern, South Central, and Western Jones.

If you are preparing for bank or have given exam for bank then this is very good thing for you. Actually the exam pattern in LIC is similar to that of Bank Clerk and PO Recruitment Examination. According to media reports, the online process for recruitment of LIC Assistant / Clerk is starting from September 17, 2019. The last date for application is 01 October, 2019.

Candidates for LIC Assistant posts will be selected on the basis of Online Examination (Preliminary) and Mains (Online) Examination. The examination for this recruitment is being conducted between October 21 and October 22, 2019. Candidates who are interested for this recruitment must have a Bachelor degree.

LIC is going to recruit 8500 Assistant Posts in offices located in different regions of the country. These include Madhya Pradesh, Chhattisgarh, West Bengal, Sikkim, Assam, Mizoram, Nagaland, Arunachal Pradesh, Tripura, Meghalaya, Manipur, Andaman and Nicobar, Bihar, Jharkhand, Odisha, Delhi, Rajasthan, Jammu and Kashmir, Punjab, Haryana, Himachal Pradesh , Chandigarh, Uttar Pradesh, Uttarakhand, Tamil Nadu, Kerala, Punducherry, Lakshadweep, Arumachal Pradesh, Karnataka.

Selection Procedure

Candidates will be selected on the basis of Prelims and Mains Examination. Both exams will be conducted in online mode. The selected candidates in the Mains exam will be shortlisted for the interview. After this, the list of selected candidates will be released and posting will be given.
