Story of Nag Panchami
Once the king was tested, he went out to the hunt and reached the ashram of Samik Rishi. If the answer is not sought after asking the water from the affluent Samik sages, then they put the dead snake in the throat of the sage in the throat. Shringi Rishi, the son of Samik Rishi, came and saw, being angry, cursed Parikshit on death on the seventh day due to the sting of Takshak. On the death of his testator, his son Janmajaya performed the serpent sacrifice to make the earth a snake. With this effect, all the curses began to fall into the Kunda, which prevented the prayers of the serpents, since then this tradition is coming. Worshiping serpents on this day does not prevent the fear of snakes.
