Fire in AIIMS extinguished after 6 hours of effort, Fire broke out due to AC compressor explosion: The fire in the AIIMS building has been controlled after six hours of hard work. According to the fire brigade, the fire was caused by an AC compressor burst. There have been no casualties due to fire. A fire broke out in the Teaching Block near the Emergency Ward around 5 pm on Saturday. The fire brigade was immediately informed. The fire brigade immediately went to work, due to which the fire was controlled.
42 Fire Van are Used to control on Fire
To overcome the fire, 42 fire engines were deployed. The fire was almost controlled, but suddenly the fire erupted again, after which the fire reached the second floor. AIIMS is the largest government hospital in the country. Here patients from every corner of the country come to get treatment. In such a situation there is a huge possibility of untoward here. Health Minister Dr. Harsh Vardhan himself was keeping an eye on the situation.
By issuing a statement from AIIMS, it has been said that the patients who were shifted to another ward will be shifted back to their wards by this evening. Let me tell you, the emergency ward was closed to avoid any kind of danger.
