Ravidas Temple: Massive Dalit Protest at Delhi Jantar Mantar for the demolition of Guru Ravidas Temple in Tughlaqabad after the Supreme Court order jsp: People of the Dalit community protested at Jantar Mantar in Delhi on Wednesday (August 21) to protest against the demolition of Guru Ravidas’ temple in Tughlakabad.
During this period the Dalits started their march from Ambedkar Bhawan on Ramakrishna Ashram Marg, which continued till Jantar-Mantar. During this time the Dalits said that we are also ready for bloodshed. The central government should build the temple again, otherwise this demonstration will continue continuously.

According to the Times Now report, the Dalits said, “Our Ravidas temple is broken, it should be built.” Otherwise it will be bloodshed. We are ready for this. ”It is worth mentioning that during this time people from the Dalit community reached Jantar-Mantar from every corner of the country.
This demand from the central government:
Dalits said, “We demand from the central government that the demolished temple in Tughlakabad be rebuilt. This temple should be built. If the temple is not built, we will demonstrate. We will not withdraw from Jantar Mantar till the temple is built.”
The temple was demolished after the order of the Supreme Court:
Tell that the temple of Ravidas located in Tughlakabad was demolished by the DDA. The DDA took this action on the orders of the Supreme Court. Significantly, on August 9, the Supreme Court ordered that the DDA with the help of Delhi Police should vacate the land by tomorrow and remove the existing structure.
Dalits cited Ayodhya:
After the temple was demolished, Dalit activist Ashok Bhati said, “If the demand to build Ram temple in Ayodhya is important for Hindu society. So why was the Guru Ravidas temple removed from the historic place where it was built. ”During this period, Dalit organizations united and called for a demonstration in Delhi on 21 August.
