Naveen Jaihind indicated that the first list of party candidates could be released in the next ten days. After this, the second, third and fourth list will be released. The names of one and a half to two dozen candidates are likely to be announced in the first list.

According to Rajya Sabha member Sushil Gupta, ex-servicemen, farmers, laborers, lawyers, master, journalists, businessmen and common workers have applied to become Aam Aadmi Party candidates. Naveen Jaihind said that Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal himself saw the forms of all the applicants in the meeting and expressed satisfaction and instructed the entire Haryana team to join the election vigorously.
