Haryana assembly election 2019: Congress’s craze increased, ticket contenders line up: After the BJP in Haryana, the Congress is the second largest party in which there has been a fierce fight for tickets. After the change in the state leadership, there has been a sudden increase in the Congress ticket contenders. There are 10 to 15 contenders for one seat in BJP, while the same number of people are ready to contest elections in Congress. The only difference is that the BJP contenders are not divided into too many camps and the Congress is the largest among the contenders. In view of the increasing number of claimants, the state leadership of the Congress is going to face a lot of difficulty in agreeing on one name.
In Haryana, seven big Congress veterans Bhupendra Singh Hooda, Kumari Selja, Dr. The politics of Ashok Tanwar, Randeep Singh Surjewala, Kiran Choudhary, Kuldeep Bishnoi and Captain Ajay Yadav runs. In every assembly seat, at least one contender of all these veterans is beating hands for tickets. Quoting the quota of Youth Congress, Mahila Congress and NSUI, about a dozen seats are being claimed.
The Congress currently has 17 MLAs in Haryana. Dr. Rai MLA Jayatirtha Dahiya has resigned from his post demanding removal of Ashok Tanwar from the post. Barring Kiran Chaudhary, Randeep Singh Surjewala, Kuldeep Bishnoi and Renuka Bishnoi, there are 12 MLAs who are pro-Hooda. Most of these are those who are being elected continuously for two to four times.
Despite the Modi wave in the 2014 assembly elections, these MLAs won the election. Now there are many MLAs against whom there is an atmosphere in their circles. In the Congress, if the ticket formula is decided to the existing MLAs, then these MLAs are sure to enter the electoral battle again. Berry to Dr. Raghubir Kadian won the election for the fourth time and Anand Singh Dangi from Maham for the third time. Geeta Bhukkal won her third election from Jhajjar.
Former Chief Minister Bhupinder Singh Hooda himself won the election for the fourth time from Garhi Sampla Kiloi. Kiran Chaudhary won the election for the third time from Tosham, Jagbir Malik, Gohana and Shri Krishna Hooda from Baroda. Lalit Nagar, MLA from Tigaon, is the only MLA who won the first election in 2014.
Hooda wants to bring son Dipendra forward
Hooda is preparing a place in state politics for his son Deepender Hooda. Deepender was a three-time MP from Rohtak and this time he was defeated by only seven and a half thousand votes at the hands of former MP Arvind Sharma who joined BJP from Congress. Hooda wants Deepender to contest the assembly elections this time and reach Chandigarh. Hooda is willing to give up his traditional assembly seat Garhi-Sampla-Kiloi for the son. Although sources close to Hooda dismissed the discussion about his not contesting the election, saying that the former chief minister can change his seat, but do not contest the elections, in no way is that possible.
Hooda is currently 72 plus. Though Hooda is perfectly fit, he wants Dipendra Hooda to be promoted in Haryana politics. He has no other chance for this job than the current assembly elections. Some of Hooda’s confidants want him to contest from Garhi Sampala Kiloi and field Deepender Singh Hooda from Baroda or Badli. Baroda will choose one of two circles. The possibility of a kilometer shift to Deepender is also being considered. If this happens, Hooda may contest from Baroda assembly seat.
