Haryana CM Manohar Lal Khattar: Bhupendra Singh Hooda in support of Manohar Lal Khattar for implementing NRC in Haryana: Citing speculation of illegal Bangladeshi and Rohingyas living in Haryana, Haryana CM Manohar Lal Khattar has said that the state government will implement the National Register of Citizens (NRC) here like Assam.

Khattar declares, NRC will be applicable in Haryana like Assam
Manohar Lal Khattar said on Sunday, ‘The state government is working fast on the identity card of the families and its data. They will also be used to make NRC. The formation of a law commission is being considered in the state and a separate voluntary department will be formed in which services of intellectuals of the society will be taken.

On this statement of CM to implement NRC in Haryana, Congress leader Bhupinder Singh Hooda said that whatever the Chief Minister has said is under law, foreigners have to go from here, it is the responsibility of the government to identify foreigners.
Haryana Chief Minister Khattar said that social audit system will also be implemented in Haryana so that development works can be audited by intellectuals of the society. It will include retired people, teachers, engineers and experts. For this, a separate volunteer department will be formed in the coming time.
Manohar Lal Khattar praised former Justice HS Bhalla who said that he is ready to go to Assam to study NRC data. Khattar said that the Haryana government is willing to take the help of Justice Bhalla to implement the NRC in the state.
Khattar’s statement on NRC comes at a time when assembly elections are going to be held in the state. There is speculation that Rohingya Muslims and illegal Bangladeshi are coming to live in many parts of Haryana. Now it can only be confirmed with the help of citizenship document that whether foreign people have infiltrated the state or not.
