High Court in Haryana, government gives instructions for the safety of Kashmiri students:  After the removal of Article 370 from Jammu and Kashmir, special attention is being paid to the safety of Kashmiri students and people living in other states of the country. The Haryana Government has issued instructions for the protection of the educational institutions of the state and the Kashmiri people living in the state.

All agencies have been kept on high alert regarding law and order. A letter has been issued by the Additional Chief Secretary of the Ministry of Home Affairs. It said that in view of the government’s decision on Article 370, the safety of Kashmiri people and students should be ensured.

Significantly, on Monday, the Jammu Kashmir Reorganization Bill 2019 was passed in the Rajya Sabha. The government moved a resolution in Rajya Sabha to withdraw special state status from Jammu and Kashmir and abolish Article 370, which it managed to pass. After this, the police administration has been alerted to the states in view of the fear of attack on the Kashmiri people. A day earlier, the government had advised all the states to take precautions and take precautions.


In the Rajya Sabha itself, the Jammu Kashmir Reservation (Second Amendment) Bill, 2019 was passed. This includes a proposal to provide 10 percent reservation to the economically weaker sections of the upper caste in the state. Home Minister Amit Shah said that the time has come to abolish Article 370, because this is the root of all problems.
