This terminal is an important part of the National Waterway 1 Haldia-Banaras Development Project. This waterway will connect Jharkhand with abroad. This will open immense possibilities for development. With this terminal, people of Jharkhand will be able to send their products conveniently in India and abroad. You will have easy access to the northeast by this waterway.

There was a time when the children of the poor could not even get vaccines, we started Mission Indradhanush to ensure everyone’s vaccine. We opened everyone’s account. 2 crore houses have been built under the Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana. 10 crore toilets have been built. 8 crore gas connections were distributed under Ujjwala. We took full care of the dignity of the poor. The central government is worrying about the education of every tribal child. Ekalavya schools will play a big role in building a new India.
Complete transparency in BJP ruled states and central government
The PM said that in areas where it was difficult to leave in the evening, roads are being built fast. In the coming time, we are also working on connectivity under Bharatmala. Appreciating CM Raghuvar Das said that there is complete transparency in governance. He said that it is the responsibility of the people of Jharkhand to collect single use plastic as well as cleanliness in homes, schools, villages, offices by October 2 as part of the Swachhta Hi Seva Abhiyan. Everyone should participate in this massive campaign. We all have to work together for a new Jharkhand, a new India. Jharkhand will again put a double engine of development for the next five years, that is the belief. PM Modi concluded his address by raising slogans of Bharat Mata Ki Jai.
Re-install double engine in Jharkhand
PM Modi earlier handed over the much awaited Jharkhand assembly house to the state on Thursday. After 19 years of formation of a separate state, Jharkhand has got its own grand assembly. The Prime Minister inaugurated the new assembly building in the presence of Speaker Dinesh Oraon, Governor Draupadi Murmu and Chief Minister Raghuvar Das. The Prime Minister inaugurated the Sahibganj multi-modal terminal online.
In this order, in the Prabhat Tara Maidan of Prime Minister Dhurva, the country simultaneously gave three big schemes Kisan Manadhan, Eklavya Model School, Self Employment Pension Scheme. The Prime Minister also laid the foundation stone of the new building of the secretariat to be built from 1238 crores. Here, Chief Minister Raghuvar Das welcomed the Governor Draupadi Murmu and the turban by offering a shawl to PM Modi at the main function venue of Dhurva Prabhat Tara Maidan.
Short films on Sahibganj Multimodal Port, Eklavya Model School and Kisan Maandhan Yojana
A short film on Sahibganj Multimodal Port, Eklavya Model School, Pension for Traders-Small Businesses and Kisan Maandhan Yojana will be screened at the Prabhat Tara Maidan in Dhurwa in the presence of Prime Minister Narendra Modi. In this sequence, the Prime Minister pressed the iPad and launched the PM Kisan Maandhan Yojana and pension scheme for traders across the country. 3000 rupees contribution is also being given in this.
The Prime Minister also launched the Pradhan Mantri Kisan Maandhan Yojana for the entire country. Pension cards were issued online to 13 crore 29 lakh 353 beneficiaries. Meanwhile, all the farmers involved in the program stood up and greeted the Prime Minister. After the assembly’s inauguration, the Prime Minister will visit the venue of the Prabhat Tara Maidan in Jagannathpur. The convoy of PM includes Governor Draupadi Murmu, Chief Minister Raghuvar Das, Union Minister Arjun Munda, MP Jayant Sinha, Sanjay Seth and other leaders. MLA Hemlal Murmu Prabhat Tara was the first to reach the ground.
PM Modi is also giving a special gift to the people of the state by inaugurating the new building of Jharkhand assembly and multi-modal terminal (port) of Sahibganj. A large number of BJP leaders, including Union Minister Arjun Munda, Ajajsu Supremo Sudesh Mahato, State President Laxman Giluwa, Ranchi MP Sanjay Seth, former Union Minister Jayant Sinha have reached the airport to receive the Prime Minister. Prime Minister Narendra Modi will soon launch the Pradhan Mantri Kisan Maandhan Yojana, the National Pension Scheme for Small Businessmen.
Along with this, the Prime Minister will also lay the foundation stone of the new building of Jharkhand Secretariat to be built here at a cost of 1238 crore. While the Jharkhand Legislative Assembly has got its grand building after waiting for 19 years, the multi-modal terminal of Sahibganj is also special in many ways. Prime Minister Narendra Modi also laid the foundation stone of the country’s second state-of-the-art multi-modal terminal at Sahibganj at a cost of Rs 300 crore. It is now being launched by them on September 12.
With the commencement of the terminal, industries in Bihar and Jharkhand will get a global market through waterways. Through Kolkata, Haldia, this route will connect Bangladesh via the northeastern states via the Bay of Bengal, while its technology is also state-of-the-art. It will also prove to be a milestone in the development here. The commencement of the port will provide employment to four thousand local people directly and indirectly.
PM Modi is starting these schemes
Pradhan Mantri Kisan Maan Dhan Yojana:
This scheme is being launched for farmers across the country. There will be registration of farmers between 18 and 40 years of age. After this, farmers will be given a pension of Rs 3000 every month on completion of 60 years of age. More than one lakh farmers have registered for the Kisan Maan Dhan Yojana in Jharkhand.
Pension scheme for retail shopkeepers:
This pension scheme is being introduced for retail and petty traders, shopkeepers and self-employed. Retail traders and shopkeepers aged 18 to 40 will also get a pension of Rs 3000 per month after completing 60 years of age. Registration is also being done in this.
462 Eklavya schools in tribal areas:
The Prime Minister is also introducing 462 Eklavya model residential schools in tribal areas. Under this scheme, 69 Eklavya schools are being opened in 13 districts of Jharkhand.
