Indo-Pak Train Samjhauta Express Services Suspended: Irked by the recent historic decision of the Narendra Modi government on Jammu and Kashmir, Pakistan on Thursday (August 8, 2019) left the Indo-Pak Samjhauta Express train at Wagha (in Pak) in between. Pakistan stopped the train citing security reasons, in which 110 passengers were stuck there for some time. However, Indian authorities have dismissed fears about security from Pakistan. They have also left for Attari with a train.
A senior railway official told PTI, “When we came to know from Pakistan authorities at 2.14 pm, we assured them that there was no safety concern and the train should be here.” We also told them that the Indian crew members and guards would take it from Wagah to Attari, providing security, if needed. ”
Meanwhile, Pak Railway Minister Sheikh Rashid Ahmed said that Samjhauta Express service has been stopped permanently. Those who have purchased tickets can get the money back from the Lahore DS office in exchange for them. However, Deepak Kumar, CPRO of Northern Railway in India, clarified shortly after that the Samjhauta Express service was still in progress. Pakistani authorities had raised concerns about security. We have told them that the situation is normal.
“The train is currently towards Wagah, which carries 110 passengers,” said CPRO. We will bring the train and passengers from Wagah to Attari, while 70 passengers going to Pak are waiting here. So it is wrong to say that the train service has been canceled. ”

Also Ban on Indian Movie
Not only this, Pakistan has also banned Indian films in its own country after Article 370 could not digest India’s steps. According to Jia News, Dr. Firdaus Aashiq, Special Assistant to PM Imran Khan in Information and Broadcasting Affairs, said that no film will be shown in Pakistan.
Let me tell you that one day (seven August), Pak anger was seen on this Kashmir issue. In a meeting of the National Security Committee chaired by the Prime Minister Imran Khan, not only Pakistan decided to reduce its diplomatic relations with India, but also combined the issue of suspending business between the two countries and making Jammu and Kashmir a union territory. Also announced to raise in the National Security Council (UNSC).
However, India had to say that Pakistan should first stop terrorism in its country. He did not lie on this issue. This fresh action of Pak gives a clear smell of despair and frustration.
Earlier, the Pakistani government led by Prime Minister Imran Khan suspended the services of this train after the Pulwama attack in Jammu and Kashmir on February 14, 2019. By the way, train service was restored a few months later.
The Samjhauta Express train was started on 22 July 1976. It was run under the Simla Agreement with the objective of improving the relationship between the two countries. The train travels from Old Delhi via Attari (India) to Lahore (Pakistan). The train has six sleeper coaches, while an AC-3 tier bogey.
From India, this train runs between Delhi to Attari while from Pakistan it runs between Lahore to Wagah. As soon as the border is changed, the passengers are shifted to the bogie of another country. For example, when coming to the attic, passengers descend from the Pakistani rack (bogies) and come to Delhi sitting in the Indian rack. The same thing happens on the other hand.
