Jammu and Kashmir: All forces placed on high alert in view of possible attack by terrorist organizations: All Indian forces, security forces have been put on high alert in view of the worsening of the atmosphere in the Kashmir Valley and the possible attack by some terrorist organizations of Pakistan. Restrictions being removed gradually

State Chief Secretary BR Subramanian said in a press conference on Friday that cautious steps have been taken by the central government in view of the cross-border terrorism. He said that the situation is completely normal in the state and no deaths have been reported nor any serious injuries have been reported so far. Restrictions will be relaxed in the coming days.

The Chief Secretary said that even today after Friday prayers, the situation was normal in the entire state. He said that in the coming days more discounts will be increased. Area-wise schools will be opened after the weekend. Government offices have opened and a large number of employees have also arrived on Friday. From today the phone service was restored in some parts of the state and in the coming days it will be restored in all areas region-wise.

Situation Under control in J&K

It should be known that there has been a law and order crisis in the Kashmir Valley since last 5 August. Though there have been no major violent demonstrations, sporadic violent incidents continue in various areas. The situation is under control. More than five thousand people have been taken into preventive custody. Many have been kept under house arrest. Landline service is being restored in Srinagar from Saturday.

Report is being given to the Union Home Ministry in the morning and evening
A senior official of the state administration said that the CRPF, BSF, SSB, presently posted in Kashmir, are reporting the status of morning and evening daily to the Union Home Ministry through their own level. At the same time, the police organization is also sending a report on the internal security system of the Union Home Ministry. This report details the measures being taken to maintain normalcy in the plaintiff, the status of the detained leaders and others.

Schools can open in the valley on Monday

The situation in Jammu is almost normal. It is believed that if conditions are normal, educational institutions can be opened in Kashmir Valley on Monday. The administration has been considering restoring stalled academic activities in Kashmir for the past 12 days. Educational institutions will be opened in a phased manner.
