Jammu: India responds to ceasefire violations, demolished 1 post of PAK army, martyred soldier in Nowshera: Pakistan’s fury is not diminishing due to the steps taken by the Modi government in Kashmir on Section 370. Earlier, the Pakistani Army opened fire on the Line of Control at 6:30 am on Saturday morning and also fired shells from mortar, to which the Indian Army responded strongly. However, a soldier of the Indian Army has died in this incident.
The martyred young man Lance Naik Sandeep Thapa was 35 years old and had been working for the last 15 years. Sandeep, a resident of Dehradun, was seriously injured in Pakistani firing.

Ceasefire violation increased
The Pakistani army has increased ceasefire violations for the last several days. On the day of 15 August, Pakistan violated the ceasefire in the KG sector in the tail of Jammu and Kashmir. Apart from this, ceasefire violations were carried out by Pakistan in Uri and Rajouri in which three Pakistani soldiers were killed. Even before this he has violated ceasefire.

Parliament approved the bill to change the Article 370 giving special status to Jammu and Kashmir and the bill to divide the state into two union territories. After this, with the approval of the President, Jammu and Kashmir and Ladakh became two separate Union Territories which would come into existence on 31 October.
