J&K: Big terrorist attack in Jammu and Kashmir, 5 Non J&K laborers killed in Kulgam, 1 injured: Pak-backed militants carried out a major massacre in Kulgam on Tuesday. The terrorists toasted five non-Kashmiri workers and shot them to death. Another is seriously injured. All the slain workers are from Murshidabad in West Bengal. Earlier in the morning, militants also attacked security personnel stationed outside a school in Pulwama, South Kashmir. In this, school students and security personnel narrowly escaped.
The terrorists escaped after retaliation by security forces. Not only this, the separatist and mischievous elements also pelted stones at the behest of Pakistan during the visit of the European delegation by forcibly closing in Kashmir, in which four people were injured. After the incident, all trucks going to Kashmir have been stopped in Jammu and Udhampur. There is a long queue of trucks on the highway.
Fired out of the house
According to information received from Kulgam, on Tuesday evening, five to six militants armed with automatic weapons entered the village of Qatarsu. He knocked on the camp of non-Kashmiri workers living on the outskirts of the village and asked them to move out with about seven people present there. The terrorists took them some distance from there and then they fired indiscriminately on them. All the workers fell on the ground as soon as the bullets were fired. The terrorists left them thinking they were dead.
After the terrorists left, the villagers present nearby informed the police and took all the blood-soaked laborers to the nearest hospital. Where doctors declared five workers dead. In view of the delicate condition of a laborer Zaheerudin, he has been brought to the hospital in Srinagar for treatment.
There is tremendous tension in the entire plaintiff after the killing of five workers in Kulgam. Currently, no terrorist organization has claimed responsibility for the attack, but the security forces have launched a campaign to kill the murdered terrorists. Till late evening, a massive search operation was carried out across Kashmir including Kulgam.
Five workers killed together after thirteen years
This is the first time after 13 years that terrorists have killed two or more non-Kashmiri workers simultaneously. Earlier on 26 June 2006, nine workers were shot dead by the militants in Budru area of Kulgam. Earlier, in August 2000, terrorists killed 19 workers in Mir Bazaar in Anantnag district and seven in Mir Naugam.
Two attacks were conducted even one day before the tour
The terrorists carried out two attacks in Kashmir on Monday, a day before the European party reached Kashmir. The militants had earlier carried out a grenade attack at Sopore in North Kashmir, injuring 20 people. The same evening, a truck driver was shot dead by the terrorists in Bijbihara.
