Army Chief Bipin Rawat: 6-10 Pak soldiers killed, 3 terrorist camps completely destroyed:

Army Chief General Bipin Rawat has given a big statement about the action taken on terrorist camps in PoK. The army chief said that the Pakistani army and the terrorists have suffered a lot in this retaliation by the security forces. He said that 6 to 10 Pakistani soldiers have been killed during this period. 3 terrorist camps have been completely destroyed and the fourth has suffered extensive damage.

The army chief said that ever since Article 370 was repealed from Jammu and Kashmir, we have been receiving repeated inputs of infiltration by militants from across the border to disturb peace in the state. There have been several incidents of infiltration attempts in the last few months. We had strong information that some terrorists are trying to infiltrate, after which we have taken this action.

Regarding the action, Indian Army Chief Bipin Rawat said that we had received information that the terrorists are coming close to the terrorist camps near the border. In the last 1 month, we have seen the attempts of infiltration of terrorists from Pakistan.

He said that there was an attempt to infiltrate the militants in Tangdhar yesterday evening. Pakistan’s army attacked our post in which our soldiers were martyred. Before the terrorists managed to infiltrate, we decided that we would target those terrorist camps. Our operations have caused serious damage to the terrorists’ bases.
