Ayodhya Verdict: Religious leaders released a joint statement after meeting NSA Ajit Doval: Various religious leaders issued a joint statement on Sunday after the Supreme Court’s verdict on Ayodhya met at the residence of National Security Advisor Ajit Doval. He said that meeting of top religious leaders helped to increase brotherhood and harmony in the society.
Ajit Doval met Baba Ramdev, Swami Paramatmanand, Awadheshanand Giri, Shia Muslim Religion Guru Maulana Kalbe Jawad, Maulana Arshad Madani and Swami Chidananda Saraswati. The meeting lasted from 11 am to 4 pm, 50 religious leaders took part.
During this time there was a discussion between the religious leaders and Doval about the current situation in the country. Apart from this, it was decided that the leaders of different communities can give a message of harmony in the society keeping in mind the decision.
Parmatmanand said that we discussed with the National Security Advisor on measures to maintain peace and order in the country. We will keep working on it.
