The verdict on the demand for a CBI inquiry against PM Modi is safe, this is the charge : New Delhi: The court reserved the decision on the reconsideration petition seeking a CBI probe against PM Modi yesterday i.e. on Saturday. After disciplinary action, the Defense Ministry’s dismissed officer KN Manjunath has demanded a CBI inquiry, accusing him of not taking action against corruption. The demand for this former officer was rejected by the magistrate court in July 2017. The court had said that this complaint is not hearsay, as PM has not been accused of corruption.
The PM is accused only of not taking action against corruption. In view of this allegation, PM is not made a case under Prevention of Corruption Act. The complainant officer in this case was also not relieved by the Central Administrative Arbitration (CAT). Kat directed the AIIMS director to investigate her mental condition.
The complainant alleged that he had apprised the officials and PM about the corrupt activities going on in the Ministry of Defense and Air Force Headquarters. No action was taken on that complaint. Therefore, a CBI inquiry should be conducted against PM Modi as to why he did not take any action. He did not take any action despite the matter being in cognizance.
