Arun Jaitley: Senior BJP leader Arun Jaitley was admitted to AIIMS after breathing trouble


Arun Jaitley: Former Finance Minister and BJP veteran leader Arun Jaitley has been admitted to AIIMS in Delhi. He complained of breathlessness after which he was admitted to AIIMS at 11 am on Friday. The team of doctors is supervising them. Meanwhile, Prime Minister Narendra Modi has also reached the hospital. At the same time, Dr. Harsh Vardhan, Union Health Minister has also reached AIIMS to know his condition. Former Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chauhan has tweeted and wished him to be healthy soon. On the other hand, there is news that Lok Sabha Speaker Om Birla has also reached AIIMS. He asked former Union Minister Arun Jaitley about his well-being and discussed with family and medical doctors.

AIIMS has issued a statement saying, ‘Arun Jaitley was brought to the hospital this morning. Currently, he is in the ICU under the supervision of doctors and his condition is stable. According to a senior AIIMS doctor, a team of endocrinologists, nephrologists and cardiologists is monitoring his health. Jaitley’s family members are present in the VIP room of the AIIMS Cardiothoracis and Neurosciences Center. Let us know that on May 29, a day before the swearing-in ceremony of the new Council of Ministers in the second term of the Modi government, former Finance Minister Jaitley had written to Prime Minister Narendra Modi that he did not want to become a minister in the new government due to health reasons.

Jaitley, a Rajya Sabha member, said that he has been struggling with serious health challenges for the past 18 months and hence would like to keep himself away from any responsibility in future and would focus on treatment and health.
