She was also the Best Cadet of NCC at SD College, Cantonment for three years. Also for three years he was selected as the best speaker of the state. Political life of Sushma Swaraj
Sushma Swaraj’s political life began with the Akhil Bharatiya Vidyarthi Parishad (ABVP), the BJP’s student wing. She was a very good spokesperson for student politics. In 1977, he was made a Cabinet Minister in the Government of Haryana at the age of just 25 years. He won the election of MLA for Haryana Legislative Assembly from Ambala Cantonment Assembly constituency. From 1977 to 79 she was the state’s labor minister. She joined the party only when the BJP was formed in the 80s. She was also elected MLA from Ambala Cantonment in 1987 and 1990. At the age of just 27, she became the BJP President in Haryana. Sushma Swaraj has been a three-time MLA and six times MP. She last became a Lok Sabha MP from Vidarbha in 2014 and Prime Minister Narendra Modi entrusted her with the Ministry of External Affairs. He led the party in the 15th Lok Sabha as the Leader of Opposition in Parliament.
