According to the district prosecution, the Palasiya police station produced the accused before the court of first-class judicial magistrate Rakesh Kumar Patidar, where the counsel for the three accused defended and opposed the police remand. The court agreed with the arguments of the counsel for the accused and issued an order to send the three to jail in judicial custody by not handing them over to police remand. The bail applications of these three are expected to be heard next Monday.

Earlier, the main accused in the case Aarti Dayal, Monica Yadav and Omprakash Kori were sent by the aforesaid court on Thursday on police remand till September 22. Police is engaged in interrogation of these three accused. At the same time, women’s lawyer Surendra Verma has said that, the police wanted to interrogate the women about laptops, 14 lakh rupees and videos, due to which the police sought their remand. If the accused are women, they cannot be kept on police remand for long. Due to lack of sufficient evidence, the court quashed the police demand for remand.
