Imran Khan announced – Indian Sikh pilgrims coming to Kartarpur do not need passport: Pakistan Prime Minister Imran Khan said that passports would not be required for Indian pilgrims coming to visit Kartarpur. Imran Khan said that I have given two exemptions to Sikhs coming from India on pilgrimage to Kartarpur. Now they will not need a passport, they just need a valid ID card. There will also be a condition to register 10 days in advance. There will be no charge on the inauguration day and 550 birthday of Guru Nanak Devji.

Explain that the inauguration ceremony of Kartarpur Corridor in Pakistan will take place on 9 November. Congress leader Navjot Singh Sidhu has accepted the invitation of Pakistan Prime Minister Imran Khan to participate in the inauguration ceremony of Kartarpur Corridor. While giving this information, Imran’s party Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) said that Sidhu has thanked Imran Khan for inviting him to attend the opening ceremony of Kartarpur Corridor.

In New Delhi, in the context of Sidhu accepting Imran’s invitation, the Ministry of External Affairs said that political approval will have to be taken for this. Foreign Ministry spokesman Ravish Kumar said in response to a question at the press conference that Indians who Pakistan wants to call for the Kartarpur Corridor inauguration ceremony, will have to get political approval. Kumar also said that India has given a list of 480 pilgrims involved in the inaugural batch to Pakistan and is awaiting its approval from Pakistan.

Construction of Kartarpur Corridor to be completed by November 9 in India

Chief Minister Captain Amarinder Singh said that the remaining work of construction of Kartarpur Corridor will be completed before November 9. 95% work has been completed. He took stock of construction work at Dera Baba Nanak on Thursday. After this, he inspected development works in Sultanpur Lodhi and inaugurated projects worth two hundred crores.

It is noteworthy that on November 9, Prime Minister Narendra Modi will inaugurate the corridor. Captain said that in Dera Baba Nanak, a single platform is being organized by the state government for the program dedicated to the festival of Prakash of Shri Guru Nanak Dev Ji. Due to the security arrangements of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, they are being made a separate platform. It is being prepared by the Central Government itself.

Tent City is being built on 30 acres

In Dera Baba Nanak, there is a provision for the stay of 35,00 devotees in the tent city being built on 30 million acres from 4.2 crore. It has 544 tents of European style, 100 Swiss cottages and 20 durbar style residences. Tent City has registration room, couple house, bale house, VIP lounge as well as fire station.
