Prime Minister Narendra Modi said that I hope that Bhutan scientists will also make satellites. We inaugurated the Thimphu ground station of the South Asia satellite and expanded our space cooperation. The benefits of tele medicine through satellites, distance education, mapping, weather forecasting, warning of natural disasters, etc. will be ensured.
PM Modi said that today, India is witnessing historical changes in all sectors. The pace of building infrastructure has doubled in the last five years. He said that India and Bhutan have a shared culture. There is no dearth of opportunities in today’s time. There is a tremendous bond between the people of India and Bhutan.
PM Modi said that fast work is going on in India to eradicate poverty. PM Modi asked the students of the university not to take any stress on the exam. He also discussed his book Exam Warriors. It is said that he wrote this book inspired by the teachings of Buddha. Prime Minister Narendra Modi said that youth and spirituality are our strength.

Earlier, Bhutan Prime Minister Sherring and PM Modi issued a joint statement on Saturday. Then Prime Minister Modi said that it is a privilege for me to come to Bhutan at the beginning of the second term. Prime Minister Narendra Modi said that Bhutan is our neighbor, it is our good fortune. The two countries are moving forward together. The Prime Minister of Bhutan gave a grand welcome to PM Modi at Paro Airport on Saturday. PM Modi was also given the Gord of Honor at the airport.

During this visit, Prime Minister Modi will discuss with the Bhutanese leaders to strengthen the bilateral relations of the two countries.
On Saturday, PM Modi signed 9 MoUs (MoUs). Under one of these agreements, ISRO will build Earth Station in Thimphu. Apart from this, a power purchase agreement was also signed between the two countries. Under other agreements, MoUs were made in the field of plane crash and accident investigation, judicial education, academic and cultural exchange, legal education and research.
