PM Modi meet with Saudi King Salman today, and take participate in FII summit: Prime Minister Narendra Modi left for Saudi Arabia on a two-day visit on Monday late evening. In Riyadh, on Tuesday, PM Modi will meet King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud of Saudi Arabia. During this time, the two leaders will hold a bilateral meeting and will also participate in the third session of the Future Investment Initiative (FII) Forum.

Before leaving for Saudi Arabia on Monday, PM Modi said that the establishment of the Strategic Partnership Council will deepen relations between the two countries. Please tell that King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al-Saud invited PM Modi to participate in the plenary session of the Future Investment Forum and he has reached Riyadh on his invitation.

Before leaving for Saudi Arabia, PM Modi said, “I will also meet Crown Prince Muhammad bin Salman and discuss bilateral cooperation on many issues as well as global issues of regional and mutual interest.”

During this two-day visit, PM Modi can sign important agreements to strengthen the relationship of the two countries in a dozen important sectors like oil, gas, renewable energy and civil aviation.

India-Saudi Relations

India and Saudi Arabia have traditionally enjoyed a friendly relationship. Saudi Arabia is also the largest and reliable supplier of India’s energy needs. Let us know that in February this year, Crown Prince came to visit New Delhi and he also committed to invest more than 100 billion dollars in India.

Imran Khan will also participate in FII

PM Modi is also to have bilateral talks with Saudi Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman. The main agenda of this conversation will be related to economic interests. Prime Minister of neighboring country Imran Khan will also participate in FII.

Relations between the two countries have not been in place since the Air Strike (Surgical Strike – 2) at terrorist bases in Balakot, Pakistan, and the chances of meeting between the two leaders are slim. US Treasury Minister Steven and President Donald Trump’s advisor and his son-in-law Jay Kushner will also be part of this international investment conference.

PM Modi will go to two conferences

Prime Minister Narendra Modi will travel abroad to participate in two important international conferences in the next month i.e. November. After returning from Riyadh, he has to travel to Bangkok to attend the ASEAN Summit. He is expected to meet with many big leaders of the world including US President Donald Trump here. In November, he is also to attend the meeting of the heads of the BRICS nations in Brazil.
