Dushyant Chautala Said: Who will accept our condition, he got our Support: Jannayak Janata Party (JJP) Legislature Party leader Dushyant Chautala, who came into the role of Kingmaker after the Haryana Assembly Election 2019 Result, has not fully opened his cards about the support of any party for the formation of the new government. He has laid down his condition for this. Dushyant Chautala said that we will support the party which agrees with our Common Minimum Program.
Soon after, senior Congress leader and former CM Bhupendra Singh Hooda gave his response. He said, what the evil things are saying is also included in our manifesto. Even after this, if they have other things, they are ready to consider that also.
Dushyant Chautala Said- will support the party implementing our minimum program, Hooda said- approved
In the press conference on the issue of support to any party for formation of government in Haryana, he did not say anything clearly and indicated all his options to be open. In this way, he hinted to open his doors to both BJP and Congress. After the meeting of the party Legislature Party in New Delhi, he made his party’s stance clear at the press conference.
Dushyant said that just a short time ago the party’s national executive met and discussed the issue of support. It was decided that a minimum common program should be prepared and the party which believes it should be supported. He said that the executive has authorized him (Dushyant Chautala) and the party’s state head Sardar Nishan Singh to take a decision in this regard.
Dushyant Chautala said that the National Executive is fully authorized to take any political step in the JJP. Today the National Executive put forth its suggestions. During the discussion, many Congress and many talked about forming a government after discussing with BJP.
Dushyant Chautala was elected the leader of the JJP Legislature Party
Speaking to the media here, Dushyant Chautala said that to form the government, he will support the party which will follow our minimum common program for Haryana. Under this program, we pledged 75% reservation in jobs for Haryanvi. Along with this, JJP will give its support to the party implementing Chaudhary Devi Lal’s thinking on old age pension.
When asked how your party fought against the BJP, how can we consider supporting it in such a situation? We also fought the election against the Congress.
Dushyant said that people are speculating who met whom and what steps were taken. He clarified that informal talks have been held, but have not met anyone. We will also participate in the government and will also work on our agenda. We got the strength of youth, so our priority is youth.
Support of BJP?
On the question of supporting one in BJP or Congress on the formation of the new government, Dushyant Chautala said that till now we have not spoken to anyone on this issue, because it was not clear in the agenda of the national executive. Now that we are authorized, we will talk to the people concerned. In a few hours or a few days, we will decide on this.
Dushyant Chautala said that in the meeting of the legislature party, a resolution was passed today that I am the leader of the legislature party. In the Legislative Party meeting, Ishwar Singh was elected Deputy Leader and Amarjeet Dhanda was the Chief Whip. He said that after this, he informed Dr. Ajay Singh Chautala about the meeting of the Legislature Party and the proposals passed in it. They agreed to it. Dr. Ajay Singh Chautala urged the National Executive to take a decision regarding the party’s stand in the current situation. This was followed by a meeting of the National Executive.
Thanked the people of Haryana for their support
Earlier, Dushyant Chautala met his father Dr. Ajay Singh Chautala in Tihar Jail and discussed further strategies. Dushyant Chautala thanked and thanked the people of Haryana for their support in the assembly elections. He said that the public voted us more than 15 percent. We are grateful for this.
Hooda said- the minimum common program of Dushyant also included in the Congress manifesto
After Dushyant’s press talk, senior Congress leader and former Chief Minister Bhupendra Singh Hooda came out and spoke big on the whole matter. Hooda said, the common minimum program that Dushyant Chautala is talking about is included in our manifesto. We agree with both the old age pension or reservation in 75 percent job for Haryanvi. In addition, if he has other suggestions, we welcome him as well. Now it is up to him that he decide.
Earlier in the meeting of JJP MLAs, the party’s stand in the formation of the new government was discussed. It is said that the BJP wants to bring the JJP along and its efforts were started only after the election results. It is believed that if JJP comes with BJP in the state, then incumbent Chautala can become Deputy Chief Minister. Dushyant Chautala will hold a press conference in Delhi at 4 pm after the JJP Legislature Party meeting and explain his stand in this regard. On the other hand, it is being told that Vicious Chautala may put some conditions before the BJP for support.

CM Manohar Lal’s sudden departure to Delhi was being fought with support from JJP
The JJP has not yet clarified its stand. Dushyant Chautala has said that a decision will be taken in the meeting of the party’s MLA and senior leader. JJP MLAs’ meeting will begin shortly in New Delhi. On the other hand, the sudden departure of Chief Minister Manoharlal to Delhi this morning is also being linked to the issue of seeking support from the JJP.
BJP made contact with Badal
It is said that BJP in-charge Dr. Anil Jain contacted former Punjab Chief Minister Parkash Singh Badal amid political activities. Jain said that we have talked to Parkash Singh Badal to get the support of Jananayak Janata Party. After this, there have been indications that JJP convenor Dushyant Chautala may come with BJP in formation of new government. However, there was no confirmation from Dushyant yet.
Dushyant Chautala may be deputy CM
It is a matter of discussion that if Jananayak Janata Party in Haryana helps to form a minority BJP government, then it will be in a powerful position in the government. BJP may hold the post of Deputy Chief Minister for Dushyant Chautala. Dushyant Chautala convened a meeting of the party’s Legislature Party in Delhi to discuss the entire development and the way forward.
If the support of JJP and Azad MLAs is supported, BJP will have the support of 57 MLAs. If Gopal Kanda and Abhay Chautala are together, this number will increase to 59.
Congress will not be able to form government without JJP, independents will not
On the other hand, Congress has won 31 seats in Haryana. If the JJP gives support, which is unlikely at all, then the strength of the Congress will be 41. Most of the Azad MLAs are not with the Congress. The attitude of Abhay Chautala of INLD is also looking soft towards BJP. Therefore, if the Congress is not given any indication by the JJP, then the Congress will not be in a position to form the government at all. Sonia Gandhi gave Hooda a free-hand to form the government, congratulating him on the victory.
Non-Congress party in power again for the first time in 53 years
In Haryana, no non-Congress party has returned to power again with an absolute majority. If the BJP comes to power, it will be the first non-Congress party, which will form the government for the second time in a row. The Janata Party in 1977, Lok Dal in 1987, the Haryana Vikas Party (Havipa) government in 1996. After this, INLD formed the government in 2000 with the support of BJP. But, in the next election, these parties had to face defeat.
We have no greed for power: Abhay Chautala
Abhay Singh Chautala, after winning from the Ellenabad assembly constituency, said that INLD has always fought for the public interest. They will always fight even further. The Prime Minister had come to rally in Malleka, I had won the election the same day. The BJP’s weakness was the Prime Minister’s arrival in the rally. The people of Ellenabad have won. I will always be grateful for this. No party will get a clear majority in the state. I told this before the election. The decision will be taken by the senior leaders of the party.
