Haryana Election 2019: Congress released list for 84 candidates for upcoming Haryana Assembly elections: Congress on Wednesday night released the list of the names of its 84 candidates for the upcoming Haryana Assembly elections. The party has given tickets to all but one sitting MLA.

Main Candidates of Congress 

According to the list released by the Central Election Committee of the Congress, former Chief Minister Bhupinder Singh Hooda will contest from Garhi Sampla Kiloi seat and Congress’s chief spokesperson Randeep Surjewala from Kaithal assembly constituency. The Congress has 17 MLAs in the Haryana Legislative Assembly. The party has not fielded sitting MLA Renuka Vishnoi as a candidate only from Hansi.

Kuldeep Vishnoi and Chandra Mohan, both sons of late former Chief Minister Bhajan Lal, have been nominated by the Congress. Vishnoi will contest from Adampur seat in Hisar while his brother and former deputy chief minister Chandra Mohan will contest from Panchkula. Former chief minister Bansi Lal’s son Ranveer will contest from Mahindra Badhara and daughter-in-law Kiran Chaudhary from Tosham. Former assembly speaker Kuldeep Sharma has been declared a candidate for the Ganaur assembly seat. Baljeet Sihag (Kakha) has been declared a candidate for the Narnaund, Hisar assembly seat.

Check Haryana Congress Candidates list in Haryana Assembly Election 2019

Haryana Congress president Kumari Selja and former state president Ashok Tanwar are not named in this list. Geet Bhukkal Jhajjar, who was the Education Minister in the Congress government, will be the party’s candidate for the safe seat. At the same time, the party has fielded former minister Anand Singh Dangi for his election from his traditional Mehm seat. It is known that for the 90-member Haryana Assembly, elections are to be held on October 21. The counting of votes will take place on October 24.

Earlier, BJP had released its list of candidates. A list of 78 candidates was released by the party. The BJP had placed 35 new and 43 old faces in its list. The party had given ticket to Babita Phogat from Dadri. The party had also released the second list of 12 candidates on Wednesday. In this list, the party gave its two state ministers
