Ms Dhoni starts practice on nets for Jharkhand Ranji Team after exclude by BCCI central contract list: Former Indian captain Mahendra Singh Dhoni, who was dropped from the BCCI contract list, started practice with the Jharkhand Ranji team on Thursday amid speculation about his future. The 38-year-old was present during his home team’s net practice session in Ranchi. In this way, he also indicated to keep himself ready for the upcoming Indian Premier League. The same day the BCCI excluded him from the list of players with central contracts.
Sources close to the Jharkhand team management told PTI, “Even we did not know that he was coming to practice with us. It was a pleasant surprise. He batted for a while. He said, “We hope he will practice regularly with the team.” His presence can only help players.
