Pro Kabaddi League 2019: Dabang Delhi ends league stage while staying on top: This is the first time in the history of Pro Kabaddi League (PKL) that the Dabang Delhi team finished the league stage with first place. In their last league match played at the Shaheed Vijay Singh Pathik Stadium in the seventh edition of the league on Friday, Delhi played a 37–37 tie with Mumba and placed first in the table.
Before this match, Delhi had 82 points but after this match, she has got 85 points and she has come in first place, behind the Bengal Warriors. The competition between the two teams, which had already qualified for the playoffs, was at par from the beginning. Delhi took a 2–0 lead but Mumba equalized immediately.
Delhi again took the score to 10-5 by the eighth minute. From here, Delhi did not look back and ended the first half with 24-13.

In the second half, Naveen Kumar defeated Delhi 27-13 on the basis of successful Red and completed 20 Super-10s this season. The very next minute, Abhishek Singh put a score in the Mumbai account from the successful Red.
From here, Mumbai started taking consecutive points. There was four minutes left in the match and the score was 33-28 in favor of Delhi. Within a minute, this five-point difference was eliminated by Mumbai to 34-33.
In the 36th minute, the score was equal to 35-35 and till the end of the match the score remained equal. Naveen scored 12 points for Delhi. Mumbai Abhishek also hit Super-10.
