According to the Punjab Government announced the announcement of PSEB 12th Result 2020 and Open School Result 2020 on the basis of ‘Best Performing Subjects Formula’, based on the average of marks obtained in the papers conducted for various subjects or papers. Will be given on “For example, if a student has given only 3 subjects, then the average marks of the two subjects in which marks are higher will be given for other subjects or papers,” Education Minister Vijay Inder Singla shared information.
He said that on-job training marks for practical subjects and vocational subjects will also be calculated in a similar way. In the case of open school, on the other hand, the result will be announced on the basis of ‘Credit Carry Formula’ and marks for each subject will be given on the basis of average marks of previous passed sessions. The Education Minister said that students waiting to appear in the ‘Golden / Final Chance category’ of the PSEB in the Rampier or Compartment Examination will also be awarded marks based on the average of the subjects passed earlier.
