The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has announced the results of class 12 today on 13 July 2020. The results have been released on CBSE result portal, cbseresults.nic.in. However, due to the large number of examinees visiting the portal simultaneously, there has been a technical glitch in the website, due to which the board released important updates to the students to download the CBSE 12th Result from the DigiLocker till the fix of 2020. 1203595 students had registered for the CBSE 12th Board Examination 2020 and 1192961 examinees had taken the examinations. Out of these, a total of 1059080 (88.78%) candidates have been declared successful. If compared to the previous year, it is 5.38 percent more than the previous year. In this year’s examination, students of 13109 schools took the examinations and 4984 examination centers were made for them.

In this year’s examination too, girls were ahead of boys. Out of the total declared successful candidates, 86.19 percent are students and 92.15 percent are girls and 66.67 percent are transgender. Students of Navodaya Vidyalayas and Kendriya Vidyalayas are ahead in the whole country. Navodaya Vidyalayas have the highest number of students with 98.7% and 98.62% of students passing of Kendriya Vidyalaya. At the same time, 88.22 percent of the students in private institutions were successful.

Digital marksheet will be available from DigiLocker through the government’s app

After the results are announced, the board has to provide digital marksheets to students through DigiLocker through the government’s app. The latest update regarding the CBSE Result 2020 is that the user interface (UI) for downloading the Class 12 CBSE Result 2020 Marksheet on Umang App has been updated only on 12 July 2020. This shows that the preparations for the announcement of the 10th and 12th result 2020 by the CBSE Board have been completed and the date of the results is expected to be officially announced today on 13 July 2020.
