DU Exam postponed by 10 days for final year students due to COVID19 situation

DU Exam postponed: The University of Delhi has postponed the open book examination to be held from July 1 due to a growing case of corona infection in the country. On July 4, DU will conduct mock test for the exam. New dates for the exam will also be announced on 10 July. DU’s Parilash Dean Prof Vinay Gupta has released its notification in the university website. This notification has been issued for the final year regulars, students of School of Open Learning and students of Non-Collegiate Women’s Education Board.

DU cutoff will depend on board exam results

Here, the CBSE has canceled the examination to be held from July 1 to 15. While the online registration system has been started by the University of Delhi from June 20 on the admission portal. In such a situation, the question has started to arise in the minds of the students and their parents, on what basis the Delhi University Administration will execute the admission process.

In this regard, the principal of colleges of Delhi University has said that students should not get worried about the cutoff concern. The decision on the cutoff will depend on the result of CBSE 12th results. Shobha Bagai said that the 12th result will be declared by CBSE on whatever basis. Based on that, the cutoff will be released in August.

Students should not worry about cutoff

The cutoff in DU’s North Campus colleges is very high and there is stiff competition among the students for admission in them. Dr. Bijayalakshmi Nanda, Executive Principal of Miranda House, North Campus, has said that students should not think about the cutoff yet.
