GATE 2020 registration date extends to September 26: Here’s how to apply: The last date for applying without late fees for the Graduate Aptitude Test Engineering (GATE 2020) was today (24 September). But now it has been extended two days further. Due to the last day, the number of applicants had increased, due to which the website has become very slow. Due to the large number of users, it has been decided to extend the date.
If you are unable to apply now, try again later. The application can be made by visiting the official website gate.iitd.ac.in. After the date of application is extended, the last date for final application with late fees has become 1 October 2019. After this, the applicants will not get a chance to register again. Explain, SC / ST / PwD / women applicants without late fees have to pay Rs 750 exam fee while after the last date i.e. 26 September they will have to pay Rs 1250 exam fee. All other applicants will have to pay Rs 1500 till 26 September and Rs 2000 with late fine after October 1.

Examination will be held in February 2020
The GATE Examination (GATE 2020 Examination) is to be held on 01, 02, 08 and 09 February 2020. The first shift will run from 9:30 am to 12:30 pm and the second shift from 2:30 pm to 5:30 pm. At the same time, the admit card of the exam will be released on January 3. The result of the examination will be released on 16 March 2020. GATE 2020 will be a computer-based examination in which multiple choice questions will be asked. The exam has 100 marks for a total of 65 questions. Candidates will be given a total of 3 hours to complete the exam.
It may be noted that the Indian Institute of Science and the seven IITs conduct the GATE examinations jointly. Only after passing this exam, applicants get admission in master’s or doctoral programs of engineering, technology or architecture.
