Facebook Dating: Facebook launches dating service, will get these special features:
Facebook announced Facebook Dating during the developer conference last year. Now the company has released it. Facebook CEO Mark Zuckerberg has written a post in which he has told about this new feature.
Currently Facebook dating service is starting in America and with this option will be available in 20 countries. Although India is not named in these countries. The company has not said anything about the India launch of this service. Since it is being launched in South East Asian countries, it can be expected that it will be launched in India soon.
Secret Crush Feature has also come with Facebook Dating. Under this, Facebook users will be able to create a list of secret crushes. If this crush list is common then only both users will be told. Otherwise no one will know who you have placed on the crush list.
Under this feature, users will be able to create a dating profile on Facebook. However, this profile will not be visible to your Facebook friends. Under this, Instagram has also been merged, that is, you can also find partners from the followers of Ista. Instagram posts can be used on Facebook dating profile.
Facebook has said that you will get preference based discussions for dating, just as you have created a dating profile. According to the company, no other Facebook friend can see your dating profile until you have enabled the secret crush feature.
After enabling the secret crush feature, you will only know if you have placed someone in the list and the same user has also placed you in their secret crush list.
Keeping in mind the safety, Facebook has also given many safety related features. By using the shield icon, you can also give information about the upcoming date to the family members and if you want, you can also share the live location.
