Jio Fiber Vs Airtel V-Fiber: Broadband plan, data offer and price comparison:
Reliance Jio Fiber will be commercially rolled out from September 5. Although the company has not rolled out the complete plan for this broadband service at its 42nd AGM meeting, the company’s chairman Mukesh Ambani has given a preview about its plans. Its plans will start from Rs 700 per month to between Rs 10,000 per month. In its base Rs 700 plan, users will get a minimum speed of 100Mbps. Jio Fiber broadband service will directly compete with the already available Airtel V-Fiber broadband service. Come, know what you will get in the plans of these two companies.
There is not much difference in the base plans of both companies. Reliance Jio has not aggressively launched its Jio Fiber plans like its mobile plans. While the initial plan of Jio Fiber is priced at Rs 700, the initial plan of Airtel V Fiber is priced at Rs 799. However, in terms of speed, the Reliance Jio appears to be quite ahead. In this base plan of Reliance Jio, users get a speed of at least 100Mbps, while in the Airtel V-Fiber plan, users get only 40Mbps speed.
Talking about other plans of Airtel V-Fiber, its plans go up to Rs 1,199. Apart from this, in Airtel’s plan, you get 100GB data with bonus data of up to 200GB for 6 months. Just like Reliance Jio, you get unlimited local and STD calls in Airtel’s plan too. In addition, you also get free subscription of Airtel TV Premium. If you pay Rs 500 per month in Reliance Jio plan, then you get unlimited international free calling in the US and Canada.
You get a speed of 100Mbps by taking Airtel V-Fiber plan of Rs 1,199. In this, you get 300GB data with bonus data up to 500GB. Apart from this, Rs 1,599 plan offers 600GB data, with up to 1,000GB bonus data. Both these plans are available with data rollover plans and Airtel Thanks. Under the welcome offer under Reliance Jio Fiber plan, users will also get free HD or 4K LED TV on taking an annual plan.
